Dr. Jay Niman
Jay Niman B.Sc., DDS is the principle dentist at St. Clair Dental Associates.
Dr. Niman graduated from the University of Toronto faculty of Dentistry in 1981. After graduation he was accepted into the Dental Internship program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This program entails a full year of advanced dental training in a hospital environment. During this year, dental interns also visit and treat numerous first nations' patients at Moose Factory in Northern Ontario, where Dr. Niman gained great insight into the difficult issues facing our Inuit population.
This year also involved extensive training at Baycrest Home for the Aged. Geriatric Dentistry is a now more than ever a very important field with our aging population. Dr. Niman has vast experience treating geriatric patients.
The following year Dr. Niman entered private practice with Dr. Michael Weinberg. In 1988 Dr. Niman and Dr. Weinberg moved into the Medical Arts Building in Toronto
In May 2009 the practice was relocated into the current 65 St. Clair Ave. E. location. This ultramodern facility offers the best that dentistry can provide, from digital radiographs and laser therapy to state of the art sterilization.
Dr. Niman has a passion for cosmetic and implant dentistry, and takes great pride in the numerous beautiful smiles he has created. He is a member of numerous study clubs and professional organizations; including the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club, The Ontario Dental Association and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario.
Dr. Niman is married with three sons, when not in the office he can be found most times with his beloved dog, Cleo, whose portraits are seen throughout the office!
