Dr. Niman graduated from the University of Toronto faculty of Dentisty in 1981. After graduation he was accepted into the Dental Internship program at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. This is a year of advanced dental training in a hospital environment. Following this year Dr. Niman entered private practice with Dr. Michael Weinberg. In 1988 Dr. Niman and Dr. Weinberg moved into the Medical Arts Building in Toronto. In 1997 the office was redesigned and the St. George Dental Group was opened in 1997. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Crown and Bridge study and the Ontario Dental Association.
Michael Weinberg B.Sc., DDS, FICOI graduated from the University of Western Ontario Faculty of Dentistry in 1982. Upon graduation he went into private practice with his partner, Dr. Jay Niman. Dr. Weinberg has extensive experience in restoring difficult cases including Cosmetic and Implant dentistry. Dr. Weinberg's Cosmetic treatments have been published in Oral Health, Canada's leading dental journal. Dr. Weinberg's interest in Implant Dentistry began in 1984. in 1999, after years of restoring implant cases he decided that it was time to learn the surgical techniques required so that patients wouldn't have to make the costly trips to the dental specialists. In recognition of his surgical and restorative skills, Dr. Weinberg was awarded Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists ( ICOI). Dr. Weinberg is a Clinical Advisor to the Toronto Implant Study Club. He also lectures and teaches surgical courses to other dentists on behalf of Zimmer Dental, manufacturer of the Zimmer Implant system. Dr. Weinberg is a member of Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, The Ontario Dental Association and the Toronto Crown and Bridge Study Club. When he is not practicing dentistry, Dr. Weinberg enjoys travelling around the world with his wife, son and daughter. He is an avid golfer, skier and scuba diver. His other hobbies include cooking and photography.
